Klein Mantra 1997

Hello here is my new to me Klein. The previous owner bought it new in 1997. He said the only thing that has been changed is the saddle as it was too hard for him. Even the tyres are original. I think the shock needs a rebuild.
If anyone knows where I can get this done in the Uk please let me know as I’ve tried a few places who have said only Risse in the USA can service it.

Sweet looking bike! I've always liked the Mantras, despite (or because of?) their reputation for being strange. You may want to ask a regular shock service shop to have a look at the Alps 5R. Some shocks can be serviced with standard O-rings and something that old is likely to be fairly simple by today's standards.

Hi thanks for the reply. I’ve already contacted a few places including Fox silver line and it’s a No from them. I’ll keep trying. I want to keep it as stock as possible
