The devil as always is in the detail

There was a chap in readers bikes who'd made his own for his Attitude. Did a real neat job too, sure you cold find it...

if we think of the same guy (horizon attitude) he made a very nice inlay for a frame which had already a big whole drilled in for maguras/v-brakes outer cable, the adapter was then to mount cantilevers again...in this case its not really easy to solve the liner issue...

That Dia-Compe noodle looks like quite a neat solution, guessing its almost impossible to get one though? Seems a bit daft that something so simple can cause so much hassle, surely these things should be really simple to manufacture.
