Klein frame question

Hello everybody,
just have, from the bay, a good Klein frame.
It's repainted in red and the seattube has a crack. Maybe it'd be repairable?
I can't determine model and year.
Can I have an advice from someone more expert than me?
Any suggestion would be apprciated

Would guess a '93/'94 Pinnacle from the dropouts

Serial No. is a little odd though..

Why you think it´s re-paint? That is really close to original Flare-color.

Thanks you shamus, I'd really waiting for your competent post (after seeing your great collection).
Well, now I'm quite sure it's a pinnacle (I was fooled by frame id, with that "r").
About paintig, there's a lot of scratch and under the red paint I can see a yellowish one... And anyway, apart scratches, it has a bit of corrosion.

Not necessarily. Before 1993 Kleins had decals, not embossed logos.
Those stickers might just have been taken off. If you look the pics, there's still some left from the USA flag sticker in the bottom of the seat tube.

I didn't know that. I thought they all had painted graphics since day one.

May be the original paint, the colour is very similar to my Klein Pulse. In several places on mine, where cables have rubbed, there is a yellow layer underneath, then below that the bare aluminium. I always assumed the yellow was a primer layer.
