KLEIN cable guide (and some other stuf)

Hi all,

With the respray of my Rascal coming up in the near future, I'm looking for some stuff I need when the frame is done

I am looking for a cable guide (if it's called that way). You know, that plastic thingie that's attached to the BB and routes the rear/front derailleur cables through...

Anyone have one of those?

BTW: I also found out that my BB spindle is WAY to short, it's a 110mm (approx) and won't fit my FC-M730 crank. So errr, if anyone has one that fits lying about the place (should be about 117 - 119 mm I think??).

BTW: Also I ain't got no CCD for the frame (there wasn't one on, and also no bolts). It should be that black thingie with 3 bolt-holes in a row in it.

Hi,
I have a Klein attitude with a too long BB spindle.
I now ride with MT60 cranks because the beautifull M900
cranks that were on it when I bought it distorted sadly
enough the chainline.
So guess what, I am looking for a 110mm spindle
but I am a bit reluctant getting the thing out, because
it is in perfect play-free working order right now.

I will contact Carsten, think he might be a Klein specialist
To ask him whether it is worth the hussle.

Can't help you with the other stuff, the guy who sold you
the frame should still have them?

trek UK still have some original klein BB axles. uncertain on lengths tho.

Well, I asked here how to get the think out... and they told me to go to a dealer.

Went to the dealer last saturday, and they didn't have no extraction tool (only one to press a new spindle or bearings in).

Just went to the tech shop with one of them employees and we got us a hammer and something to hold the frame. It came right out, A LOT easier than everyone here said. We screwed a crank-bolt in the spindle and tapped it right out with a rubber hammer.

After that it was just a matter of evently tapping the bearings out as well. No trouble at all, I could have just done that myself. But better safe than sorry
