It should be mandatory the payment in Paypal or other safety system to protect the buyer. however it is not like this.

I am in trouble with an Adroit frame bought on ebay and paid on bank transfer. :evil:

The seller is a good friend of mine. He is trustworthy. Paypal is not mandatory on German ebay. But remember that the fees are very high for payments made from outside Germany (around 3,5%). Together with the ebay fees (9% or max. 45 EUR) the seller with have to pay 100 EUR in fees total.

If you forget to mention "no returns/no guarantee etc.", you grant a two year guarantee according to German law - even for used items and even with private sellers.

20inch Kleins are suitable for riders between 178 - 190cm, I guess. I am 187cm with long legs and have no problems with my 20inch.

Good to hear someone on here can vouch for the seller, as for pursuing through German law if there is an issue, not for me. Why dont they just offer Paypal as a payment option?, or does ebay.de give the buyer the same cover as a purchase through Paypal? I am sure it would open up the auction to alot more potential bidders therefore potentially a much higher sale price which in turn helps cover the fees.

Hi Ash, definitely the rigid forks - that and the bars / stem are a big part of the attraction for me (plus the colour obviously)

You know how it is - you just want it the exact same way it was when you were a kid and dreamed of owning one but could never afford it!!!
