Have had this frame for a while and been planning this build for well over a year, wanted to do something diferent with it, wanted old skool looks with new technology.

Shaved off the brake mounts and got some Fox Forx, also not pictured is a Fred Salmon 1 piece bar/stem to try and give it the MC1 look, here are the pics before the respray.

this is going to be a very cool looking ride when all done. nice to see the old colours coming out to play again. all alpinestar owners love colours like this :lol:

Funk me, thats stunning 8)

Great idea using the Fred Salmon one piece, the colour matched Fox forks are ace too.

Bright paint, colour matched bar/stem combo and colour matched forks are what makes a Klein a Klein IMO :wink:

build will be full XTR M960/M965 with a few little retro touches :wink:
 
It's a great take on what is IMO one of the iconic bikes of the 90s. Look forward to seeing this one finished :D
