Klein Adroit

Arrr ok least you never lost your cash.
I hope this ones a good one to for someone, I'm just a suspicious guy

There is some scam coming around here lately hence one has to be careful. I have been offered various forks i was looking for at a low price (money transfer by money gram only). When i asked for pix, he had problems uploading. Not saying this is, but the price is unreal.

PS: watch our for the user MAN11 or anyone using the name jimgabert in his email (if there is any real Jim Gabert in the forum, you might be excused).

Must say when I saw this I almost fell off my stool - then I looked at the location the back story and postcount and decided to back off. Has all the hallmarks of a honey trap. Love to be proven wrong tho....

I find it a very sad day when you list things of interest. Only to get people say it a "honey trap" or "too good to be true".
Yes I listed my Adroit frameset, yes it is mine (well was) and someone new is going to enjoy such a wonderful bike.
I've given more than enough evidence that it's no scam.
I've been offered some silly ammounts for this Klein. The guy who won, got a steal.
But to be honest. I'm glad it's going toa good home. If the deal falls trough. I'll PM a few other people.
My sister is here on Holiday from Nottingham, with a good friend.
They even bought over a DEAN frame with them. Bought from a member of this site.
I also bought a Orange Aluminum Elite from another member too.

I apologise then just seemed way way good to be true so I did some digging. Just seems weird that you know your bikes and you sold this for the price you did can't blame people for doubting

Not sure what happened to a post LOL.
In cyber space somewhere no doubt.

I can understand at $1000, it would look a little odd.
But it was just expressions of intrest.
The frameset was sold for a great amount. That I was more than happy with.
I've been offered since then $3500 by quite a few.

The Spins will be going on the Orange as a fixie project.
The Maguras and a few XT parts will be going on my Cannondale F400 as the trail basher.
Then there's the "Rasta" project DEAN for my partner.
Had to sell something for the Kooka cranks LOL.

No doubt i'll regret the sale. But have way too many projects on the go. Plus running a very new and very busy, bicycle repair business from home.

You must have made Retrobike fellow very happy today. As it all seems real, i think it is more than just cool that there are still people selling (KLEINs) at a reasonable price,

Best of luck with your other projects.

Hi All

Just a note from me, Alfie and I have dealt with each other recently. Alfie bought a frame from me, I sent it to Australia for him. He's been a pleasure to deal with and is a good egg as far as I'm concerned, he's on my Facebook friends list. If anyone needs him and he ain't replying let me know, I'll message him myself. He's probably buried in bike bits down the shed.
