Very true what Pinguwin says and i suppose it depends on what you paid for it. I'm guessing that you paid top dollar and this poll is you looking for some kind of justification. I wouldnt even think about it personally. Its yours now and i'm sure you'll be happy with it. If not....sell it to me

I should have some pics tomorrow so Ill try and post them. I think Ill still look out for a pace as well though to do the Mint Sauce thing. Theres an F8 on ebay atm. Do you reckon that'd make a good build or should I look for an earlier one?

Please excuse my Antipoedian ignorance, but I just can't subscribe to the Klein appreciation society. Nice enough, but no neutral or negative response available with the poll? Thats taking the love a bit far, isn't it?
And seeing that the thread has been turned into a bit of a pace love-fest, what is it that makes these square-tubed creations so admired? Never seen one this side of the pond, so I need a little education here!
Perhaps someone could kick off a new thread and let the Klein-o-philes get on with the voting.

No need to apologize but I'm not sure what makes them so great. I like them, I have nine of them, but are they better than most bikes in terms of quality, yeah, I'd have to say so. Are they the best, maybe? I can't point to a bike and says, "Yes, this is surely better than a Klein", but ultimately I don't have an answer for you anymore than why people get so excited about even a Potts or Cunningham or Pace.

You need to go see a doctor mate (should be easy enough for you... )

On a more serious note, there's precious little in terms of MTB kudos that comes out of this dismal little country and these were a feat of incredibly inspired engineering and good old fashioned British Pride....trouble is, no bugger else has ever seen one or ridden one......they did get reviewed in US mags BITD but they didn't understand the fuss.....you either love them or hate them but you do have to admire the engineering.

I posted a picture recently that showed a partial glimpse of one of my bikes and burningBoy asked me to post the rest. I said that I would but didn't...but will now. Ok, I'll start getting them up in the next few days.
