Klein adroit Nighstorm 1995

Retro Newbie
Hi Guys

I have a 95 Klein Adroit in Nightstorm and am unsure of what to do with it. After 3 seasons of hammering my 'economy klein' (rascal with the purple fade paint job) I upgraded to this bike but it never suited me so well which was very sad.. It is now wrapped meticulously, hidden away from prying eyes.

There are a few very uncreative snaps available but what i am looking for is some advice on what to do with this bike?

when i bought this bike I was told by the Klein Dealer (I bought it trade,so direct from the klein rep), that there were only 2 being imported into the UK in that current year, 1995. As i had to wait for it to be built/sprayed i asked if it could have some 'uniqueness' added. It has 'NUKE 95' on the rear stay, by the bottom bracket.

I believe that this was the last of the Pre-Trek Kleins? Is this accurate?

Also, I've been looking at the forums and feel that perhaps it needs some more time to mature as such. is this so?

anyway, my story is basically that of a serious bike enthusiast who lost his way with the career trap, who is also looking for some advice...

Any help please?

Please take a look at link... it's pretty much immaculate aapart from a scratch on fork blade and on the damn chain suck plate!

Feel where you are coming from with the job getting in the way of riding n'all that. Get your leg over when you can!!!! That's what I reccomend! Lovely machine aswell!!

i came across those photos a while ago via the search function. i'm sure you know how rare it is (especially in this condition) and with the rigid Strata fork. strictly spoken it is from the last year of the "pre-Trek era" but there are some 96 Adroits with the same frame (2" downtube) and Strata fork, just a different paint. what to do with it?
a) put it on display and enjoy it like a painting or a sculpture
b) ride it but don't expect much difference to your Rascal (if it is the same size) and be aware that you reduce "market value" with each mile
c) sell it. the last comparable Adroit went for 2000GBP on ebay and this one should be good for more.

btw, Nuke is the sig of the painter. he painted mine too

Nice ride!
Not heard of 'nuke' before..
What happened to the Klein painters did they go elsewhere?
Does anyone have any info on techniques and info on the painters?
J

"Nuke" has been painter all Nightstorms that I have seen in pics.
So far, seen only pics...not real ones yet.
