Klein Adroit 1993 Gator

Re:

Started cleaning the frame up last night, de-greasing, removing any spots of dirt/paint/tar/glue and applying colour restorer to lightly scratched areas as necessary. These pics are with the restorer still on in the areas that needed it so should look great once polished up.

Re:

Can you go into detail on the brand of color restorer? Digging this thread already! What wheelset and group set are you planning?

Re:

Colour restorer is by Simoniz, normally used on car body work, nothing particularly special.

Wheels currently are black Ringle hubs, black Mavic rims-717 I think with titanium spokes and black alloy nipples, XTR cassette. Crank will probably be a refurbished set of Toplines but I do have a black Cooks RSR or black Grafton Joystix. Mechs will be XTR until I get my Proshift rear sorted, I need to get a damaged piece replaced and still looking for a front one, shifters will be XTR fitted to the mounts shown earlier.

Other bits, Flite Evo carbon, XTR chain, Grafton Speed Trap pedals, Ritchey foam or Klein grips, Ritchey or Klein tyres, final weight is having an impact on my decisions with this, decide as I go along. I have been waiting and searching for a very very long time to build this so hoping it won't disappoint!

Re:

Wow Ash, it will be a great build.
I really like black components. IMHO top line or Grafton joystix will suit better.
Waiting to see the bike fully assembled
