That same Adroit was sold earlier this year in the eBay.com with worse parts and it netted over 2500 USD if my memory serves me right.
Calculate 300 USD shipping + customs fees + VAT on top of that and we're talking about 3000+ USD total price...

We have seen the Klein forks sell for 1000,- so why not a whole bike for 2000,-?
Maybe people want to bid and not a fixed price.

Klein forks have sold for $1000, but not 1000 lbs. I can't imagine anyone paying that. The highest I've heard of for an adroit was $3800, but that was a NOS nightstorm signed by Gary Klein (yes, this was the $35,000 bike). It's not NOS, so I would be surprised if it sells for that.

One strike against this one is that it's the smallest size made. The medium sizes are generally the priciest ones. When he says that he is 6' tall and it fits him fine, uh, possible, but unlikely.
