What gives this guy the right to decide in which country the bike will end up?

that'll be his right of ownership

i'm not a huge fan of posting overseas as i've had things lost and ended up refunding the buyers and i'm the part + the money out of pocket

so what gives you the right to moan about it ? the guys perfectly within his rights to sell it his way isnt he ?

both times i was insured , still never seen a penny for both items (which is £85.09) so the chances of me posting anything out of the uk again are pretty slim

+1

I am reluctant to send stuff abroad when selling through ebay, big chance of things going missing and naff all protection when they do.

Tracking fully is very expensive and whenever I quote the minimum service that I will use (for my protection because ebay is now very biased towards the buyer) the potential buyer won't pay it and argues the price should be lower.

I've sent quite a bit of stuff sold on ebay overseas, incuding a car to the states and never had a problem.
Never sent anything as big as a bike that needed parcelled up so not sure whats involved.
TBH it's his bike and he can sell it how he likes, lazy?, probably but thats up to him.
