thinking of getting one for my xmas- looks great and pretty damn cheap anyone got one? And whats the advantage of the more expensive 3g one, I have wifi at home.

a woman at work has a kindle, i had never seen one before, and i was mightily impressed, very clear screen, lots of storage, stores wherever you last read up to, on more than one book.

To read on the bus 4 weeks battery and 1000 of books storage and yeah bit of a geek too.

A lot smaller, much better battery and apparently the screen is so much better on the eyes, not sure why but all the reviews comment on it.

It's a different type of screen , though wouldn't call it cheap for a thing to read books on.
£20/30 cheap
£100+ is very expensive. and £150 is ridiculous, that's iPod Touch territory.
you still have to buy the book and I think they are still more than you can pick the paper version up for.
I can understand it's advantage, but not for that much.
I'll stick to £4 for a book or 2 for one offers
Can always donate the book to charity, library after that.
