Its going on a manitou mars fork as above

I might be being dumb (only had one pair of PM forks with small rotor) but try to mount caliper without an adapor first, see how it fits on the rotor, if it rubs just use 2.5mm washers between caliper and fork threads :?

yeah was thinking that myself, just give it a go and have a play around with a couple of washers coz you probs dont even need an adapter

But then the caliper will be in the spokes, as the mounts on the caliper are on the side and the forks have mounts on the back??

If it helps the calipers are formula.

Would get a picture but should be doing other stuff like making the kitchen a better place to be, and not spending money on bicycles lol so do not want to stir that bees nest ..

right, yeah majority of formula are is mount instead of pm. so you will need a is to pm 165 but tbh i douybt you will get one and your gonna be better uping it to a 180mm rotar, will be much easier
