I got the alpina univega frame from "Ibelieveinfixies" a while ago now. The very kind fella gave it to me for the price of postage, a karma frame he had got from another forum membere- with the proviso that I truly needed a bike, that I got her together quick and once finished that I had to ride her hard

This is a cracking bike and I will prob regret it, but I stripped her to finish my M2 and someone needs to get her dirty. Pretty sure it is a 19 inch frame, you get the frame and the seatpost- see my build thread below, lots more patina now as I have been on a few fun adventures since I got her but a great frame and all I ask is you convince me that you will do all the things I was asked when I saw the karma ad originally.

I'm off on my hols for a week tomorrow so the best story when I return will get the frame.

If this was smaller I'd be begging you to send it my way!

I spent most of the early 90s racing on one of these and LOVED it! I must have another one just for the memories if nothing else! Alas I have stumpy lil legs though so this is not for me..

Who ever gets this really is in for a treat! 8)

Too big for me too, but really enjoyed the build thread & very cool that it's got so much history on here! Deserves it's own time-line thread

Enjoy your hols!

Could be good for me for next epic trip with panniers :D Need some more tourist orientated bike, if you still have it I could collect.

And she moves to another home. This really is a cracking frame, I just wish it was smaller. Owen if you find two smaller one can I have one please?

So far the Retrobike ownership history goes:

I got it karma from CTK, me ➡️ clockworkgaz, clockworkgaz ➡️ ...

wow good response, It should really go back to it's original owner however I will still give it a week to see if I can get a really good sob story, can't post until I get back next week.

It's a nice bike, seen in action couple times but I think I'll stick with triple triangles  Frame passing to the next person...

I've just bought another frame (and another one...)-

I'm going to pull out and leave it open for someone else. It's a lovely stable frame great for MTBing, commuting, touring etc a bit of an all rounder!

Someone snap it up and give it some love!
