Kaffenback or Uncle John ?

I have been looking for a new fram or maybe a complete bike for a while, and have come accross these two from Planet-X, Kaffenback or Uncle John any one khave one and can let me know whay you think ?

depends what you intend to use it for. I have a Uncle John to race cross on and double as a winter trainer on the road. Quite a stiff, racy frame. On the other hand, the Kaffenback is steel, so will be more comfortable but heavier. So in short - go for Uncle John if you are after a more direct, racy feel or Kaffenback if comfort is number one priority (over weight).

Quite a few folk at the www.uk-mtb.com forum have kaffenbacks, and one of the regulars has an Uncle John. Pop in they are real friendly

An alternative? Lemond Poprad. A few come up on ebay in your size and don't go for silly money.
