Oh ok didnt know that, its quite a late one I think, it is a lugged frame, nice and light
Great quality - the builders really wanted to do a good job.
I'm not totally sure of the date it changed over - could it be after this?
Dawes were a little cagey about it. They certainly kept the union flag on there.
Then they moved to tig, lugless, far Eastern. - still a great bike but not as smooth to ride as the lugged ones, and I think the later they are, the better they are.
The frame tubes, and I assume the lugs, were made in Britain, shipped over to Czech, built up then shipped back.
