Re:

I would like to buy some inner tubes and tyres for this Raleigh Routier in grandparents garage (poor photo)!
What size do I need to buy? Many thanks

look around the wheel rim and around the sidewall of the tyre, there will be sizes shown there.

Looking at the picture, it is very likely to be '700c' which is a very common size and even available in your local Wilkinsons but check first.

HI, thank you very much. The bike is not with me so I wanted to buy some and put them on in a couple of weeks. Wilkinsons is a great shout.
What tyres would do?

Regards

Re:

I bought my Raleigh Routier new in August 1987 and still have it and still use it. It is the red/white version with chrome mudguards and bike rack. I fitted alloys wheels in early years after a pothole took out one steel rim.
I would like to find replacement mudguards if they are available as mine have a couple of splits at the side now, which can be sharp if touched

Hey, nice find with the Raleigh Routier! It’s a classic bike known for its reliability and smooth ride—great for both casual cruising and longer trips. If you’re looking to keep it in top shape, using natural cleaning products can be a gentle way to maintain the frame and components without harsh chemicals. What year is yours? I’d love to hear more about it!
