Another old geezer comes out of the woodwork!

Hi, I'm Steve, new to the forum. Been involved with bikes since the mid 1960s and still able to ride without an oxygen cylinder.

I'm a CTC member, former time triallist and also a member of GO50, a geriatric off-road insane asylum.

I live close to the western end of Heathrow Airport and own three bikes. Most used is an old skool Marin Pine Mountain, circa late 1990s, built up as a hybrid.
My road bike is a Romester (?), badged as a Spesh and only used when the weather is fine
Lastly, I've an off-road bike based on a Scott Scale 40 frame.

Self-employed number cruncher with a two-and-a-half day week at present, so I'm able to get out quite a bit on both road and trail.

Hope to be an active member of this forum. 8)

Welcome Steve  , hope you have space for more bikes as most peoples collection seems to grow when they join the site

Cheers Jimi.

I do have the space but am currently without the required Nelsons to buy any more bikes. Was hoping for a fixed wheel one to revive the memories of how easy it is to fall of these! :D I'm off to Calshot on Tuesday week with my friend, so I might try and steal (oops, borrow  ) one!

However, as I've just sold my track day fun car, I have oodles of space in my garage, so my three bikes have never had it so good. :P

Hello to anther Southern :D The South East group are meeting on the 28th March
