The Canadian Second City comedy troupe did a TV show here called SCTV. It was a parody of a fictional TV station. Here's an episode of Mel's Rockpile (like Top of the Pops) with the Queen Haters as the guests. If you look closely at the band it's John Candy, Eugene Levy, Joe Flarety, Andrea Martin, and Martin Short.
