Nice bike -
NOT a URT -iirc - more like an rottweil/ German Cannondale (?)

Have the DH3 been fitted with springs or are they 'just air' ?

Stuey, I have no idea about the forks, they make the same sort of sound as my Bomber Z3's which are fluid filled. Suspension is not my strong point !

Cheers

If they've been 'sprung' then they will have very low stiction at start of the stroke.

DH3 were great forks and 78mm of travel was soooo much ( back then)
;-)

Stuey, Thanks for this, Really good to know that they are / were good forks. I will have a blast on it tomorrow and ..... (wait for it)........ sus it out

I think many parts (fork, crankset) are older than the frame and the frame itself leaps out as circa '97/98 possibly, I think they went to a 4 bar setup around '99-00.

Those frames were all over the shops in the UK like a rash if the ads in Dirt were to be believed, one of the ton of cheap taiwanese duallies which flooded your market in that era. Very common as an upgrade for a stuffed old frame.
