Just bought this last week, always wanted one

I think this has too much bling - What do you all think?

I am thinking about scrapping most/all of the purple and going to something more sophisticated (just gonna be a street bike though)

p.s that fork brace - did Manitou do their own for this fork rather than this purple one?

Keep the purple haze man! (But ditch the Trans-X)

I'd keep some of the purple as the frame and fork have purple highlights on them.

Maybe just tone it down a bit, make it subtle.

Pretty cool buy. Is that a Shimmed USE post? If it is it might be an idea to fit somthing that is the correct diameter and relive the stress off the extended seat tube area.

The Ringle is mint but most of the other purple is faded/worn.

i want to remove the Manitou decals and i'm hoping someone can make me a new set of Cannondale decals for it. My initial thoughts are to scrap the purple seat post/bars/bar ends and go polished alu Syncros for stem/post...maybe some silver Hyperlights

I'm not sure as I have never had any USE stuff before - how can I tell? (I can post pix of the underside..???)

I can confirm it has a shim though (very good eyes you have....)

BTW: I think the cranks could be Toplines. Could be wrong though. And the 'post is defo a USE one - you can tell by the clamp setup.
