Cheers guys the boss ain't a nice person and Iv'e kept copy's of all the emails the main problem is he takes everyone on self employed so he in his words "doesn't have to deal with all that tax stuff and it saves me money"

It all comes down to a few factors the other lad at work is a piss taker and huge back stabber and the boss only believes him plus I'm not in the click as I work hard and dont do the uber cool surfing and two face gobshit thing.

At mo Im hoping he will pay my invoice if not im taking it to small claims court and inland revenue to say drop him in it about the bullying and refusing to take people on other than self employed as he hates paying tax should be interesting 15 years of the company not paying NI or PAYE for 20 guys on massive offshore rates whoop whoop.


In the mean time anyone got any work for an engineer? there's not much I cant do

Going on my only experience of the Aberdeen area this is true with or without the first a in seamen...

Sorry to hear about the job pal, sounds like you have a fair case for unfair dismissal though, don't be afraid to go down that route. I'd love to offer you something myself but we're scratching around a bit at the moment ourselves.... Best of luck!

Your boss sounds like an idiot, and the tax/NI dodge sounds like downright arrogance (15 years of getting away with it?). Hopefully HMRC and/or DWP will well and truly have him over a barrel.
