Just wondering looking at that Russian monster belonging to Mistermagictea, when does a watch become a clock. I know they are all clocks in reality, but thing reminds me of a cross between a divers helmet and my kitchen wall clock.

Always fancied the Omega Seamaster range, but they are kinda out of my league.

Anyway, a timepiece is a device of conformity.

seeing them ebay doesnt do them justice looking at that .....nearly got onemy self a while back but got the kinetic instead...this is the one i just got...keeps perfect time and it looks good/

That one in your ebay link doesn't look to be a Kinetic - looks like a mechnical automatic.

I tend to get the hefty 'sports' watches because they tend to be pretty tough and I need a watch that one can leave on whatever one is doing, as if something has to be taken off, I would forget. Used to get hell from the ex for sleeping with my Seiko Sports 100 on, the things it used to get bashed on.

i got a G shock for christmas... wasnt really bothered by them before, but now that i own one , i love it !!

yupit replaced the kinetic which died after ten years of non stop faithfull service....it was second hand when i got it back in 1990...i paid 80 quid then and it kept perfect time for all those years of abuse,crahes,sea water,building site work,cement you name it and not a single scratch on the face all that time...the citizen is actually much cleaner then the pic shows and i have to say its time keeping is spot on with a lovely sweeping second hand not stepped like the seiko was..
