More parts:

Avid AD 3 brake levers
Some wear to anodising on left lever but otherwise unmarked and very sound. Some rust in bolt heads.

£15 + £2.80 postage

Shimano SL-R440 8-speed / triple Rapidfire Pods (L and R)
Fully functional, very little evident wear; includes front and rear cables (these were on a tandem, so even cut down they have ample length for solo use)
https://flic.kr/s/aHsk5GDpHB
£25 + £2.80 postage

Shimano XT M730 front mech (boxed / instructions)
Evident wear to cage and weathering to band/arms though reasonably presentable (and, of course, fully functional).
https://flic.kr/s/aHsk5GDVmK
£10 + £2.80 postage

Hite Rite with fittings, instructions/pack and sticker!
Was on my late, lamented Hoo-Koo-e-Koo until I trashed it and broke my collarbone. The replacement bike (the last remnants of which are listed here) had a different seatpost diameter and I never put it back on. Some rust on inside of spring and on some of the fittings, but still serviceable.

£12 + £2.80 postage

Early 90s parts
Much of the parts listed below have been recently stripped from my early 90s bike. All owned by me from new. I was slightly shocked at how many boxes I still had.

Mavic 317 1-1/4” headset (boxed / +instructions)
Generally good condition, though some marking from insertion to frame and on spanner flats. I’m pretty sure the split bearings were deliberate, but has no effect on functionality once installed either way.
£30 + £2.80 postage

Sachs PowerGrip Wavey ‘gripshifts’ – pre-SRAM (boxed)
Rear – indexed 7 speed. Front (unused – indexed triple). Includes unused front cable and grip and used rear cable and grip.
£15 + £2.80 postage
https://www.flickr.com/photos/25225906@ ... 139715521/

Shimano LX 2-finger brake lever (apparently in the wrong box)
‘Servo-wave’ action, adjustable reach and leverage. Nice condition with only a little marking.
£15 + £2.80 postage

USE inline seatpost in purple
Some marking and signs of wear / discolouration of anodising (eg to clamps) but generally very sound condition. 25mm (can be supplied with 31.6mm USE plastic shim).
£25 + £2.80 postage
https://flic.kr/s/aHsk34SKEo

Some other less retro bits (pics are here: https://flic.kr/s/aHsk2BXDig)

Ritchey WCS short bar ends - very good condition, probably on the triple for one ride, at most (proved too short for the stokers).
£18 per pair + £1.48 postage

175mm cranks / 46-36-24t chainrings

Inner side of rings has some marking from wear, but plenty of life in the teeth yet and the outer side is much less marked. Unused 8mm hex crank bolts.

Re:

Got to admire someone who keeps the original boxes

Anyway just for clarity mate, these are not Deore II ...they are later LX in a Deore II box.... just so you don't get someone complaining :D

Shimano Deore II 2-finger brake lever (boxed)
‘Servo-wave’ action, adjustable reach and leverage. Nice condition with only a little marking.
£15 + £2.80 postage
https://www.flickr.com/photos/25225906@ ... 139715521/

Also, are you absolutely sure that is an XT cassette...looks more matt like the DX HG70 rather than an HG90. HG90 had a black sticker on the lockring too....either way its a good price. :D

Ah - so, the brake levers. Wonder what happened to the Deore's then. I'll amend.

Pretty sure the cassette is XT - I have a recollection of the sticker parting ways with the lockring years ago - probably too much degreaser.

Thanks for the heads up.

Re: JP's other bike shed clearout - Campag, XT, etc +purple
