John Fern 531

I picked up a very rusty John Fern frame that had seen better days, the paint being touched up with Dulux! After sand blasting and repainting, the paint scheme borrowed from a Gazelle Champion Mondial, and adding parts I had lying around I have this, I intend to go full retro eventually but couldn't wait to try it out on the road!
I don't know much about John Fern other than he had a shop and used various local builders for his frames, so any more background info would be greatly appreciated.

Looks good mate :)
A weird blend of modern and old, doesn't usually work so well but to me, this looks good and balances out well.
Where was the shop?
