Jekyll 800 Build

I have taken 3 years one this beast so far and finally have it set up just right.

Its a 2002 XL Jekyll - normally I would go near a 24" top tube - but look what happened to modern bike Geometry!! so I have nice short stem on it and quite wide bars, and it rides like a peach.

When I got it, it was completely stock even the handlebar grips were original, and I could tell it had not had a hard life.

the hubs have 4 bolt rotors (still got)

Brakes were Julie/Lousie (sold)
Saddle was a nasty plastic cannondale one (sold)
Seat post was Cdale Expert - (in the Delta V)
Stem was a massive 130mm (in parts box)
Cranks were Coda expert with a nice middle burn 44t on the outside(still got)

Jobs done
Rear shock was leaking air - new seals fixed that
SLR Wheels and UST tires
XTR 960 Cranks and R-mech
new 90mm Stem from Qwerty
XT dual control Brakes
C4 Risers
TransX internally routed Dropper
Nisene HP saddle

Frame Adjustable Geometry wise I allways ride it slack as in Cross Country mode it feels too steep

up to date photos tbc!!

This went for a great price during Lockdown 1.0 - my Moterra is my go-to bike and nothing else was being used so the collection has thinned right down....
