Jason McRoy's Salsa ala carte

I'm thinking some kind of Bontrager rim, sorry I can't be more specific.

You can see it has quite a deep brake surface and a very square section

If you want originality then I can send an original varnish fix DC head badge that we fitted to the disc and a black vinyl DENTON that was placed down the front of the seat tube.

I only have a few of these remaining. These are from the same shop drawer and from the same last batch that would have been fitted to Jason's bike.

Re:

Thanks bud that would be perfect,

any idea what bars were used, the salsa pro’’s or something else ?

I’m looking for a USE ti post , a 32 hole nuke proof front hub with a decal not plate like the one shown, I have 2 28 hole decal hubs to swop as well as boxes of parts someone may need or I have cash ready to buy

I can't be sure, but possibly (and you would really need to check, as this is such a long time ago), 3ttt - possibly Pro Compe. That is what came into my mind. We built with lots of stuff we had in the shop to supplement the handful of bits he was given by NTi

If you look at the image, you can see what appears to be some kind of white logo each side of the stem and a red band on the RH side in between the brake lever and stem - it seems to match with a pro compe.

brilliant story, for one of my fave riders and bikes...will be digging out my old MBUKs to study this again in more detail. All the best with finishing the projects and thanks for documenting it so carefully.

This needs finished before August as it'll be the 25th Anniversary, I've got my film cannister and yellow tape ready to strap on my Yo and find the highest point I can (Warner, Peaty and a few others took JMC on his last runs at Worlds 95, you'll have seen the pics!)
