Anyone on here got one, I seriously want one as my next car however I probably won't be able to afford one for a considerable amount of time yet and will be the diesel version. If anyone has got one what are they like, good points bad points. I keep trying to find pics and vids of them but most seem to be crap.

Lol because I want a diesel for my next car and I think because of their depreciation you seem to get a lot for your money?, that and if you get one in black it looks like the batmobile lol, besides the S type isn't that big and at 34 and only started driving in the past few months so I think I've done my bit for the environment lol.

Had one for the summer 2004, V6 3.0L.
Loved it, but there were plastic bits where there should not have been!

I just sold my xjr......was lovely to drive but fuel consumption was horrendous 
s type is a nice enough looking car but diesel engines are not the jaguar way....it is ethically wrong
but saying that you can pick them up for peanuts so as you say bargain mate....

It is a fairly big car too. Very comfy.
A friend of mine bought his wife an import one before they were released in britain......they still have it now....s type r....only 46 thousand on the clock but the hardly use it ....under a cover in their garage it is....with his porsche and jet ski and other ott paraphernalia they never use
