I used Waxoyl on on Fat. Got it nice and warm on the radiator sprayed it down the tubes and heated with a hair dryer. Worked a treat.

I've just JP Weigled my Karakoram steel frame.

Simple to do but DO IT OUTDOORS.

Makes a right mess no matter what you do to try and stop it.

Oh and take heed of the advice not to stick the tube in the air holes on the rear stays. One blast and it's like a scene from backdraft, minus the fire, but adding brown sticky sh*TTY chemicals that burst into your face.

I think I paid about 12 quid for mine delivered too.

One thing I forgot to add from my post ...... this is really, really horrible stuff to breath in :shock:

I use a face mask whilst spraying my frames.

One thing to be a bit cautious of is how much you use at the top of your seat tube. Once dry this stuff remains quite "tacky". If you have a tight fitting seatpost you might need to clean out the seat tube by how much it inserts.

I would defo wear a good qaulity carbin mask and do it outdoors.

This is really best as a preventative. I have know guys put MOD grade jenolite ( rust remidy/converter) in a frame if it looks like the rust is deep.
