it's sat there in the corner of my room.

I have only ridden once in 3 weeks now.

I have 6 built up and 3 very angry bikes covered in mud that i had to lock in the garage which they have now trashed, there are bike bits everywhere

i can here them screaming at night and im sure i heard them chanting "bellies gonna get ya" too

daily commute starts tomorrow i promise, well perhaps friday then it is a bit cold after all

I lock mine in the garage or leave them in the LBS.

Not ridden a bike in 2011. :( I am part way through a project, so maybe 2012 will be a bike ride year.

If you did ride in 2011 al then 'Hell no! I don't actually ride a bicycle.' wouldnt be true. So i assume you havent ridden so you dont hurt our feelings.

I don't even like bikes.

I'm only on here because I'm lonely.

I had it all planned out. Get Christmas out of the way, then have 3-4 days of local riding - different routes and different bikes, all mapped out in my head.

Then the lurgee struck on the 29th and by New Years Eve I was bed-ridden. Apparently it was a cold, but I'd turned it into man-flu. Man-flu? Even Wiki agrees with me: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Man_flu

Today is my first day out of the front door since last year. The weather wasn't that bad either over the weekend - mild and damp - but not as bad as up North. Arse.

This weekend will be spent (hopefully) back in the saddle, no doubt soundtracked by the inevitable repeated coughing up of gunk from lungs that are waaay down on what they were last week. How smokers do it is beyond me.

so far i have done at least 7 miles every day in 2012  car being fubar has helped, but fixed that today but still riding tomorrow and friday.

Actually managed to get out on my White Moss today.. All 2 miles to the dentist! Decided on the way back that
a. I dont like dentists and
b. the elastomers in the forks were deffo kaputt and at the point they MUST be replaced. Bit the bullet and stripped the forks when I got back. Yup.. they were 'fecked' to use the tech term. each fork has 3 elastomers. one in each for was reusable (just) but well... might as well have used two handfuls of peat compost.. would achieve the same result..

 have now installed springs and all is well with Mossy the MTB
