It's pronounced "Fah-jean"...

Here's my Faggin. It's my bad weather bike. It's an SLX King with a Columbus Air fork and had terrible paint. So I stripped it and put some re-pop decals on it. It's currently set up as a restomod. Although it's Ultegra 6600 10 speed. Which is considered a relic and retro by today's standard I guess. 😂

Any one else got one?

It's pronounced "fay gin" isn't it? :) as in Oliver Twist.

here we go again, this is going to be like the tange thread all over again.

nice Italian stead, I like it.

I went to a bike shop down the road from me that had a good working relationship with Bill from Torelli who was a distributor of Faggin till they went behind his back and distributed bikes directly to other shops and just shrugged when confronted about it (typical Italian business moves in my experience) and he said fahjean with kind of a J and shean sound in the name. So Imma guess that's how it's pronounced.

Nice, it is just a naked frame?

That's your bad weather bike? I hope your bad weather isn't as bad as my bad weather

Lovely thing, anyway.

It's chromed but not polished under where it was painted. So I guess it would be NSFW if I did close up shots of it. 😂

Here's one of my good weather bikes, a 2005 Mondonico Columbus EL-OS Monza (IYKYK)with Campy bits and bobs. I'm lucky to have fancy pants bicycle's for the most part. I actually got this bike for free off Craigslist in a pile of bikes that some rich guy who had a house that was bigger than the whole lot my house sits on was giving away. He told me he got it and it wasn't his thing. He had the seatpost slammed down to the collar, a riser stem and big MTN flat pedals on it and the Shimano 6600 group I put on the Faggin. I ended up giving the other bikes to the local co-op for karma's sake.
