Its been an all round good day!

Took the day off work today.

This morning, I went out for 2 1/4 hours of MTBing in the sun. Little bit of wet mud here and there, but overall quite quick and nice hardpack dry trails. Beautiful

Even had the Lancaster, Spitfire and Hurricane fly over :shock:

Then, later on in the afternoon I went and picked our new car up; Subaru Legacy 2.5i.....bloody quick I tell you

Ahh yes, I love Fridays

I know doogie, but Mrs GT only does about 7,000 miles a year and my company car is a diesel.....so we thought hey, you only live once!

I'm afraid that spending loads of money on a car isn't my idea of a good day - I hate spending money on them, either to buy them or buy parts for them plus I hate spending time working on them too. They're just a neccessary evil, in my opinion (like shopping every week..).

I accept that I'm probably one of a very small minority who hold this view though..... :roll:
