Italian tyres?

I thought about the green wildgrippers as I have a pair but what with the frame, fork, saddle, cables, cage and bar tape all in celeste it might over egg the pudding.

Bianchi puddings are supposed to have too many eggs. Bianchi is an obscure italian word for "too much turquoisy green".

I've got a Vittoria MTB tyre, it was on the front wheel of a dumped naff bike left outside my house for some godforsaken reason. I chucked all but this wheel away.

The tyre doesn't look as if it's anything special but it's OK for the wife's 'comfort bike'.

Can post a pic if you like?

Had a look at it today and it's 'Made in Taiwan' so not really Italian after all!

They didn't. The only retro tire is Vittoria, but nothing worthy until they turned into Geax (and to Ibis for help).
Plus, they made a tubular tire (yes, they did, in 1991) with a Fisher thread pattern, but there's no way to find a pair.

I think Pete Matthews, the wheel builder, had some of these wiith the rims listed on his site. The site is now gone but he may still have them
