It Appears Londoners can't...

Spare a thought for those of us in the tropics. I had to get to work through 6 feet of humidity today

;)

I've known several Londoners who consider anything above the M25 "the North" and that the UK is London, the rest of us are mere lowlife money suckers, bleeding London of its wealth.

I cannot stand the place TBH
Too cramped, i mean look at this guy http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Dawes-mountain-bi ... 4a9d7e889c no room to wash his bike outside so uses the bath

It just takes one snowflake to screw up London's transport system! Jeremy Paxman was saying on Newsnight "This is very unusual weather we are experiencing"... no it's not you flipping tosser, it's called 'winter'! Then the news shows Victoria station with no snow and they're saying how bad it is in central London!!

My sister and rest of family up in the Pennines have a good two feet of snow, and they don't complain, that's more like it!

There is so much media hype going on about the weather. Many countries are having a hard time off it. The delays to the Euro train was the French side. Look at the East coast of USA.
It's winter just have to live with it and get on with life as best as poss. Or move to a warmer country.

More like the weather we've had for the last few winters is unusual. We've recently had a run of unusually mild winters and now, when we get a proper winter, everything comes to a stand still.

As a Northerner living in London (and having been daft enough to have done so for 10 years now) I can safely say that Londoners are totally rubbish in this weather, as they were last year

There's nothing wrong with any of the main roads here and there's trains and buses which are all still running...but nobody seems to have been going to work!? Last week I was out delivering to offices in the City and only the receptionist and/or security was actually there working..funnily enough the ones who need the money are quite capable of getting from A to B still...

Nobody could work out why I was in shorts either, I kept telling them it wasn't that cold

people expectations are just too high .

roads in the south are saturated in normal time , add some snow and ice and it is chaos .

Ditto, I wear t'shirts in the office and am forever being asked if I'm not cold?!
