It’s getting HOT in here ….

I agree go with the Red but I don’t think the blue decals are a problem. It looks good on the 96 Kona and I’ve seen a Hot painted that way that looked amazing.

The white with blue decals like the Foreplay would look pretty special though too imho!

Kili’s all had silver or gold decals I think so would look unique

What colour are you getting the forks painted?

If it goes red , then I think I’d match the forks.

If it goes white then maybe blue to match the decals.

However I’ve changed my mind 4 times today already

For those who have original paint 96/97 Hots.

Are your decals under the lacquer? Even on the solid colour frames?
No, mine on my '97 are on top of the paint. They are also the same decals as used on the Ti Kona's with original decals that I have owned. My custom '97 USA made Caldera also had these type of decals. They start to crack and craze in places as they age. By contrast, my old '98 green sparkle Hot had the decals under the lacquer as did my other '98 rasta flame yellow and green Hot!

That dam green Hot. How did I let that go….

Interesting that the Rasta scheme had the decals on top of the lacquer.

I’ve just also realised that I bought the Yellow stem of Ernie when you got that frame.
