isle of wight nightride baiku with fireworks!

was bored, so i decided to go to the isle of wight, my usual route so nothing out of the ordinary then.

as i came up to headon warren i noticed that there were loads of people and usually there's maybe only 1 or 2 dog walkers and thats it, i stop some guy and he tells me that there's a massive firework display on and luckily enough where the trail i was riding would be a perfect to see it all.
so here's a few pics from the night, was impressed with them, the last one to go off was massive, like watching the deathstar explode in real life!

I was out the other night - just down the road from you in the Avon valley. Was whizzing past some Bronze Age burial mounds in the forest when a deer jumped out of the bracken :shock: took me a while to calm down!

The warm evenings are really great at the moment.

My family love the IOW! Have taken summer hols there the last 2 years, its BEAUTIFUL

So the 'was bored, so I decided to go to the IOW' made me growl in my office this morning!

the new shift thing is quite good, today is my last of 4 days off, the night shifts are good coz i like riding the long way in for them, then at 6am when i leave i get the awsome morning ride if i'm not to shagged, but when i change from the day shift to night shift i do a night ride coz it makes me sleep through the guts of the day ready to beable to work through the nightshift not to tired, so the job has really changed my riding, and the trails are always empty!
