Hmmm... So...

Finally bought something modernish...

A raceface turbine chainset, for isis BB. I will be running them on a 1997 Orange P7, with a 68mm BB shell... So how the devil do I decide what axle length to plump for?

Cheers, A.

113mm. That's the only size I've used on the bikes I've had Isis on.

This fits 95% of ATBs. The shorter 108mm is for road bikes and the longer 118mm is for bikes with a chain device like an MRP/E13, etc.

what about 123? i think you can get those, i run a 113mm and it seems to be ok, just fitted a chain device though and the chain rubs against the bashguard at the moment.

Don't know about that but 113mm is suitable for most mountain bikes. The longer sizes are for special applications like bikes with chain guides/guards, etc.

well as i said ive got a 113 and my chain rubs a aginst my bashguard on side and chain device on the other side, when going through the gears, in the middle (8speed) its ok though :?
