Any thoughts on this bike folks, what he says doesnt make sense, that the ehad tube decal is original but the whole bike has been resprayed, also fro mthe very very little i know aboiut rockys the seat tube doesnt seem to extend enough and the top tube aint too sloping

That a traditional Rocky style been in use from 1990/1 the offset toptube/seatstay
Not saying it is one though, welding poorer than I see on early 90's bikes though, even my bottom end one.

I'll be an '200x bike though could be anything. Serial number might give you the year.

they are both ally aren't they, the grotty one looks like it has ally tubes, i think the tange he is on about is on the forks?

I would guess it is a Rocky. The white one is a 2000 Soul, which does have an Easton Elite frame, but even so is still over-priced (he was asking £350 to begin with). This could be similar if the disc tab is original, but the serial number would tell us.
