No,rear end is all wrong, although they did an alloy frame with no loopstay I don't think they ever built a steel frame without or with a wishbone seatstay.

My kokopelli has no loop stays .

main.php

what size is the headtube?

Didn't think IBOC's ha 1 1/4" headtubes,maybe an old Alpinestars Cromega?
The auction listing says 1 1/8".[/quote]

The auction can say what it likes

But look at it!, my money is on its an 1-1/4"

It's identical to my '92 Mongoose IBOC Team Series.

Wishbone stay
Identical canti hanger.
Identical stop at the top of the seat tube for the front mech cable.
Identical mount at the bottom of the seat tube for the front mech pulley.
Identical canti bosses on the back.
Even the drop outs look the same.

The Mongoose has a 11/8" head tube. It's very short, like the one in the photo

I'll post a pic of mine later.

EDIT: Pic now posted, tried to take it at a similar angle.

Yes your Kokopelli has no loopstay AND its Alloy, just as I said, this was marketed as a 'European' Yeti. You sure its 1 1/8" headtube?

were the kokopelli's not built in italy ?

No all Yetis of that time were handbuilt in Durango, they just managed to knock £500 off the price of an ARC with the simpler back end.

the Kokopelli was only made for the european market and yes , it was cheaper to make as it had a conventional back end .

it is deffo a 1 1/8 .

the stem is 1 1/4 and i am using a shim on it .

the frame is cracked , second time , so when funds will allow I ll be looking for an ARC to transfer the turquoise bits .
