Is this a good bike then?

My mate sold me this for a daft small amount ( do not ask how much ). I'm finding out now it's a pretty tarty frame and fork. It's probably from the mid ( ish ) 90s and it's in " Gan " team colours. I'm kitting it out with 9 speed Dura Ace not so much for retro purposes but now all are obsessed with 10 speed the prices have fallen drastically of the nine speed secondhand market just like it did with M950 XTR...bliss!

Despite the fact that my American dialect suffers when encountering words like "daft" and "tarty", what I can tell you is that if you got this bike cheap you did very well.

Should be an excellent all day racer for you, comfy and responsive.
