Is this a 1995 (?) Diamond Back Axis ... Pro?

Thanks. Would love that finish. Does your rear brake get routed same as this pic (1992)? Or as mine?
I think my rear brake is the same as yours. Mine is now far from catalogue spec, but was the same as the attached photo. 1994.

Oh, man ... you're giving me ideas ... I'd LOVE to have that finish. So maybe mine is a ... 95? If only there were more European catalogs around.

Reminds me of my Fisher Mt. Tam - never should have sold it. :/

How's it spec'd now?

Thanks for the reply!

I'll take a look through my archive to see what I've got, pretty certain my catalogs are 1997/1998 sadly, nothing older.

Most things have broken/worn out over the last 25 years. The bike has always been a rider, although much less these days. I've taken a couple of photos, my cable routing is the same as yours.

Diamondback Response Elite appear to be rare things, certainly here in the UK. I've had mine since new in 1994. Still my regular ride!

Awesome! Great bike! I just wish mine was 18" not 16" - I love how it rides but it really is just too small (post about that/how & why I got it coming later in the rebuild thread).

Have been looking at Diamondback frame numbers this morning. Yours appears to be a 1994 frame number, as is mine: U40102743
The mudguards are off mine now, and it has a matching rear wheel - front wheel upgraded with a Goldtech front hub.
