Its newer than the one pictured and is appx 88 / 89 has Exage mountain wich was not too bad a groupset TBH. My mate had exacly the same bike but without the bent bars It would be worth checking if theat seatpost moves

Cheers GM! I suspected that either you or drystonepaul would know the story behind this one.

As I said in another thread, I'd really like to get an older Saracen with a larger frame as a summer road-going runabout, and this one's ideal. But no matter how much I try to ignore it, the truth of the matter is that I simply don't have the room for more than one bike. So I'm going to have to let this one get away...

But by posting it here, it might find a good home with another member of the RB brotherhood...
