Is that an 1997 Stumpjumper (Steel frame)

Hi to All!

First of all I´d like to say hello to all, I´m glad that I found this forum.

I´m currently considering buying this bike ( pic. attached) and I´m wondering if this is an 1997 Stumpjumper with a steel frame as it is listed as one.
I think it is rather a 1994 Model than 1997!?

Equipped with:

XTR FD + RD, Tune Seatpost + Speednedle Saddle, Tune Hub, HS33 Tomac with Carbon BB.

Would be nice to know what you think it is worth too.

I have one of those which is the same colour and is a 1997 one. Mine also takes a 30.8mm seatpost not the usual 30.9mm one.

It seems to be one of the last if not the last Stumpjumper steel frames!?

It was the last year that the steel frame was an option, I still have the rigid forks from mine just in case I take it back to how it came.
