Well guys, it seems like you bring me luck. From Tuesday 31-5-2011 I can again call myself a working Mechanic. In other words, I got the job, my hiatus IS over!

Never heard of the Renault Hiatus or the Renault Abeyance, mind you. Oh, hang on, you said lacuna....i'll get me coat .

Returning to the original post(er) - long spells out of work are hugely frustrating and demoralising, been there myself on a few occasions. So best of luck with the new job - hope it all pans out well for you.
