Opinions please.

My current bike (set up for off road) is a 1999 Kona Caldera. Whilst not massively retro I need your help and thoughts.

Since her purchase she has undergone some updating with some (in my mind) fancy parts.

However recently I have purchased some blue anodised skewers and stem top cap for her and also thinking of “otherâ€

I suppose it depends on the bike doesn't it? What it actually looks like.

I mean I love anodised bolts etc, but there aren't any on my bike. And every time i get the chance i seem to put black on not colour. But there are bikes that it perfects. The Manitou and Yeti Fro in last month's BOTM for example.

I think maybe either a rainbow myriad of colours - so wrong it's right, or one colour throughout and playing off against decals, tyres etc.

quite right that man. I have one with silver and one with black. I did nearly buy the red Graftons :shock: an do have some Ano parts but they are not on either bike.

I went way over the top with blue anodized parts BITD, never again.

A few anodized bits here and there are ok. Especially black bikes with gold bits

have some ano bits on all my bikes - old ord new school.

Just think that all black/silver bikes look a bit boring.
