Iron Horse FS works

Yes the iron horse and because the rear swingarm pivots were tapered (worn) corroded and seized oh and the front headset was screwed(not in itself a big problem ) but not worth repairing ,in fact I remember the comment "send it back and I'll scrap it" being bandied around bt the vendor!obviously not it would seem ?

Yeek!

Slammed on the brakes.
Told the guy I'd been made aware of a rogue frame and that if the frame numbers matched from the rogue one and his (obviously I had no numbers!) I'd be sending it back. Described the issues mentioned here and sent the link to the old ebay listing.

He sent a refund without even challenging me. Must be duff then.

Cheers for the heads up guys.
That was close.

Deep film man voice on:

"Sidewinder stands over the Retrobike masses with an ever watchful eye, cleaning up the dark corners of ebay one by one so that one day our children can trade in a world free of SCUM TRADERS! "

Deep film man voice off.

only just seen this thread. just to set the record straight. I mentioned to a friend of a friend I had this frame, he knew the condition, he made an offer & it was sold.
