While on a recent surprise visit to Moscow, President Bashar al Assad of Syria openly said that there will be no political solution in the United States with Barack Obama. Russian President Vladimir Putin’s only comment on the subject matter was “Do you realize what you have done?”, referring to the U.S government.
The statement comes as the Syrian government is increasing its support to various opposition groups which now control vast parts of what was once Uncle Sam’s country. What brings them together in their fight against the ruling party is their common ideology: To bring down an illegitimate government.
Also supporting opposition groups operating in the United States is the Coalition of the Free, an umbrella of ten states comprised of Cuba, Venezuela, Libya, Sudan, Zimbabwe, Russia, Iran, Iraq, North Korea, and headed by Syria. The Coalition has concentrated most of its support efforts on the moderate Free American Army, headed by Marcus DeAndre Jones, a former black lieutenant in the government forces.
