It's utterly horrible. It's a frankensteinian match of different styles which just don't work together. Just my humble opinion mind.

Can't understand why you would opt for an external type bottom bracket, which are generally less durable than square taper bbs and a quill stem and threaded headset and cantilever brakes, which are generally more hassle to set up and maintain than threadless headsets and V-brakes. Even a set of low cost hydraulic disk brakes, like Shimano Deore would make more sense than cantilevers. If you want to build a retro styled but modern, practical and durable bike, surely you should pick the best and most durable and practical components currently available. :?

The only thing I totally agree with is the external bottom bracket nowhere near as durable as a square taper one, nothing wrong with a well set up threaded headset though, and those are modern CX frogleg type cantis no more difficult to set up than a pair of V-brakes. Why would you build a retro looking frame then stick disk brakes on it plenty of disk only frames out there already does not make sense to me :roll:

It's not a pleasant looking bike. But I guess as it's probably designed as a touring bike. Maybe more explorer type touring in deepest darkest Peru (to see Paddington) or Africa. So it would make sense to have Canti brakes and a quill headset as they could quite easily be found in local shops. Where as it might be harder to find things like Disc spares.

Read through their descriptions and ill add that im not sure they know what theyre aiming for. Too many wild claims to support their choice of components which seem to be a for a mix of disciplines.
Attempting to plug basic cantis over V's or discs :facepalm:
