Is it me - or does that look very much like a Specialized FSR?

Not saying it IS an FSR - just that the designs are very similar.

very similar design as they both use the same linkage design.
it does however have a spec sharkfin disc adaptor on it though.

yep, intense had to have a sticker on the rear end as they owned the patent. it rides very well. just needs a 165mm fox float to complete.

It says in the listing that it's an 18" frame - is that c-t. I'm around 5'9" - 5'10" so I think it would fit, although I do like my frames on the slightly smaller side. Especially when they're begging to be thrown about like that Tracer is!

Could you just confirm the measurement please, and confirm whether any of the bearings need replacing?

Very tempted to buy it and restore it as a bit of a long term project..

yep, 18" centre to top, i am 6'-2" and its little to small for me.
most of the bearings were replaced, i have some spares and some shock bushes for fox as well somewhere..

what you have there is one heck of a hybrid!

Thats a tracer front end, with what looks to be the linkage from an early Uzzi SL/XC, the seatstays from an early Uzzi and the chainstays could be either tracer or early Uzzi (as they were the same, but later Uzzi SLX were different)

Normally the tracer would use a narrower one-piece shock linkage that bolted directly to the front end without those silver spacers, and the Tracer seatstays had a narrower linkage mounting area accordingly.

Thats the nice thing about the late 90s early 00s Intenses, witha bit of jiggery pokery you could mix and match quote a few bits.
